Websites are great for people who already know about you or your event. For everyone else, there is the poster!
An eye-catching A4 or A3 poster in a window is still a great way to get your message out or inform people about an event that is happening. Many shops allow people to put posters in windows, and most local communities have a message board that allow posters promoting local services and events.
Posters are offline marketing, but they don't have to stay offline. Attach the same poster image when sending out emails about the service or event, or if you are creating a Facebook page use the poster as the profile graphic. You can even make your poster interactive by including a QR barcode - which will link people with a smart-phone to your website by just taking a photograph of the poster.
